Our mission is to equip men with the skillsets needed to be leaders of their faith, family, community, and themselves through the pursuit of the outdoors.
Guiding Principles
-
Honoring the traditional role bestowed on us by the father. To lead our families, community, and our ourselves with integrity and strength. We honor the opportunity to be in the testing grounds called nature, and the traditions set before us.
-
The power to push through no matter the adversity. To have the perseverance to do whatever it takes to reach our goals in life.
-
We are the warriors in our household, and community. We must protect ourselves and those we care about spiritually, mentality, and physically.
-
Our God-given role is to be a provider, to work hard, to sow hard so we can reap the harvest to support our families and communities.
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the expanse proclaims the work of his hands. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge. There is no speech; there are no words; their voice is not heard. Their message has gone out to the whole earth, and their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming from his home; it rejoices like an athlete running a course. It rises from one end of the heavens and circles to their other end; nothing is hidden from its heat.”
— Psalms 19:1-6

Jon Fondrie
FOUNDER
Hailing from the great state of North Carolina, Jon did not grow up hunting. He picked it up for the first time in 2022 after a year prior God gave him a vision for Wilderborne. He can relate to how hard it is to get started into hunting without someone showing you the ropes. Being a founder of Wilderborne he has a heart to teach people how to get started in hunting and ultimately target their own life with the same veracity.
